4th Annual Curd Crawl Fundraiser

United Way's 4th Annual Curd Crawl Fundraiser is approaching quickly!


This year's event takes place on Saturday, October 5, Noon-5:00pm. Purchase a wristband in advance for just $10 or 5 for $45. A wristband which gets you access to discounted cheese curds at the following participating establishments:

  • Brick's Downtown Bar & Grill
  • Broken Plate Catering
  • Courthouse Pub
  • The Fat Seagull
  • Pizza Garden
  • Waterfront Wine Bar
  • The Wharf
  • Wrap It Up

A raffle basket will be at each location on the Crawl. Extra raffle tickets are 5 for $5, 10 for $10, 20 for $20, or a wingspan for $40. Curd Crawl apparel is also available.

Volunteers needed for this year's Thanksgiving Community Meal


The Hunger Coalition of Manitowoc County and Hope Community Church are again partnering this year to host a FREE Thanksgiving Community Meal for residents of Manitowoc County.


We are recruiting volunteers for the following:

  • Food Prep and Cleanup on 11/27 Noon-5:00pm
  • Drive-through Service on 11/28 9:30-11:30am
  • Dine-in Service on 11/28 11:00am-1:30pm

United Way gives back to the community


On August 28, United Way board and staff members helped prepare the community dinner at First Presbyterian Church in Manitowoc.


Community dinners at First Presbyterian Church started in 2008 and has steadily grown since then. They currently serve about 200 free meals every week. Meals are served to-go every Wednesday 5:00-6:00pm.
