FROM THE DIRECTOR
The 2024-25 school year is finally here! Welcome to all of our new families, and welcome back to all of our returning families. Thank you for choosing All Saints School; it is an honor and a privilege to be a part of your child’s early education.
Thank you to Maura and Michael Gillon for a delicious breakfast for our teachers and staff during pre-planning, and thank you to Mellissa Sojourner, Heather Allen, Maura Gillon, and Alice Maguire for a wonderful Popsicles in the Park event!
We have a few new faces here this year. Welcome to Ms. Ally (Young Ones), Ms. Lindsey (Threes), and Ms. Abigail (Threes). Our team of amazing educators has settled right in, and there is an excited and joyful energy on campus!
We spent the last few weeks working hard to prepare for this school year. In addition to setting up the classrooms, the staff spent a few days in development and training which centered around our Whole Child theme for the year. Our trainings included:
--Introduction to Childhood Apraxia of Speech and Other Related Communication Disorders with Katie Beiter, M.A. CCC/SLP
--Milestone Masters: Empowering Educators for Early Childhood Success with Dr. Juleah Cintron, PT, DPT, CPRCS and Tina Noll, OTR/L
--Loving Your Neighbor as Yourself with our very own “Rev. Lo” – Reverend Laura Cook
--Behavior 101 with our very own “Ms. Shari” – Shari Pridgen, M.Ed, BCBA
As we navigate this school year, we are focused on nurturing the whole child through Christ – socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually. This starts by forming trusting and loving relationships with your little ones that will lead to a successful year of learning and growth. We are inspired and ready to get busy with the important work of childhood…play!
Please read below for exciting updates and upcoming events here at All Saints School. Gena and I look forward to seeing you at the Welcome Back Coffee after drop-off on Wednesday, September 4th!
With Love,
Emory
