OSU's Quarterly Newsletter | |
| President's Welcome Message | | |
Welcome to the second edition of our new quarterly newsletter. Since our first release in late June, summer has flown by - and with it even more reasons to celebrate our club activities as well as success on the field.
Although the weather became quite hot at times, more sun and warmer temperatures made the outdoor soccer experience better, including for our end of year Recreational tournament recently held at the George Nelms Sports Park.
In the senior competitive side of our club, just in the last few months we have seen many players, who were part of OSU, from the youngest ages, gain professional and national team opportunities, which always reflects well on our programs, coaching and organisation of staff and volunteers.
Please remember to respond to our club service surveys which were recently released, to tell us more about your experience with OSU this summer. These surveys are always a key source of information for continuous service improvement.
We hope that you will enjoy learning more about what has been happening around the club over the past few months.
Yours in Soccer,
Bill Michalopulos
| | | OSU's Recreational Year-End Event | | |
The community came together on September 6-7 weekend to enjoy one last round of games to celebrate another successful Summer soccer season at OSU.
Over two days, we welcomed over 2,000 players and their families to the George Nelms & On the Green facilities.
Participants enjoyed great weather followed by a pizza lunch with their teammates to conclude the season.
A big thank you to the many volunteers, coaches and club coordinators and program leaders who help ensure soccer happens in the community each year.
We hope to see you on the field again soon!
