OYC Students Shine at Annual Back-to-School Bash
The 21st Annual Cool Gear for the School Year event—hosted by the Jason Taylor Foundation—made back-to-school unforgettable for 15 OYC Miami students. Held at Old Navy, the day began with a high-energy celebration featuring music, meals from Chick-fil-A, and special appearances by the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, Miami Heat Dancers, and mascots from both the Dolphins and Marlins.

Overtown Young Professionals (OYP) is a group of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 39. OYP exists to empower future leaders of our community to engage, connect and support the mission of the Overtown Youth Center. OYP members will serve as ambassadors to raise awareness about the transformational programs that provide youth and families the support necessary to bridge educational, social, emotional, and opportunity gaps that exist in urban communities.
