Local 1000 members attended the 3rd Summit earlier this month alongside Union Representatives Cassidee Griffin and Victor Bowling.
Member Sebastian from Kroger #589 remarked "I was pleased to see college-age folks seeking to empower the working class through their respective channels, trades, and options of work. Seeing every nook and cranny of the work force, from pipe-fitting, to nuclear energy, to retail and commercial, to theatre workers, to baristas, to restaurant workers, to flight attendants gave me a lot of hope in the power of the working class to truly be able to push back as a whole, because when push comes to shove (and I believe that it will,) the working class will be pushing from quite literally every angle it can."
Member Seth from Kroger #572 reflected that "Finally, having someone who is running for office (Taylor Rhemet) come up to ME and ask me what I'd want to see come from the administration was a completely novel and made me felt really good!ce!
