NCFRW – Thankful for the blessings of Liberty! | | | From the desk of Kay Wildt, NCFRW President | |
"We pray because our hearts are broken, and we believe that God is listening." Vice President JD Vance.
There are times when the world around us seems out of control. We're bombarded daily with outright lies in the media. President Trump calls it "Fake News," and the shame is that the media knows they are lying and do not care.
Is it any wonder that so many unbalanced people act in ways that are contrary to civilized behavior? Yet the liars are not held to account.
Focusing on the negative drives out hope, and rather than being grateful for our many blessings, the focus is on what is wrong or on injuries. Gratitude can change our lives - it is a choice.
Each day, be grateful. Pray for freedom from hate and discord. Read the 23 Psalm in the Reflection below, and know that God is listening.
| |
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23.

Remember: It Was Terrorism
The World Trade Center, NYC
The Pentagon, Virginia
Shanksville, Pennsylvania
We all remember where we were on September 11, 2001, when terrorists struck our nation. Let us also remember the brave men and women who ran to the burning buildings, those who stayed to help with the search and rescue, and those who have fought and died to protect our country over the last 24 years. Keep them and their families in our prayers.
God bless America

Caring for the
U.S. Border Patrol
Although it is a top priority with President Trump, the southern border wall is far from being completed. Every day agents of the U.S. Border Patrol are on the job patrolling our border and protecting us.
Martha Jenkins suggested a very thoughtful project that is an offshoot of the NFRW Border Care Project (BCP) - sending Christmas cards to border agents. Kay Wildt is in touch with Deborah Wall, a member of the Texas FRW. Debbie is coordinating the project and will collect the Christmas cards until December 1st when she will deliver the cards and other items to the agents.
From Debbie Wall:
For the cards, simple is best - just regular Christmas cards with a handwritten note is super. Please let them know where you are from- the agents are stunned when I tell them where supplies are coming from. Their appreciation for the support during the Biden years is truly heartfelt.
We encourage kids to draw pictures, reach out to Sunday school classes, anyone who wants to support. We will also add the San Antonio ICE agents this year; there are protesters as you can imagine.
Regarding other needs, any first aid item is great. They get scratched up badly out in the brush. Sunscreen, electrolytes, insect repellent are needed year round.
From the NFRW Capital Connection of September 1, 2025:
The NFRW Homeland Security Committee & Texas FRW have compiled a list of items that our Border Patrol Agents need to make their difficult jobs easier. All you need to do is click HERE or the picture above and you will be directed to Amazon where you can pick from a wide range of items that are desperately needed, and they will be shipped directly to the processing team.
All you need to do is:
- Select the items you wish to purchase.
- Add them to your cart.
- Click "Proceed to Check Out."
- Make sure the shipping address selected is "Deborah Wall - Border Care Project" (this should come up automatically).
- Select your payment method.
- Then click "Place your order."
- Items will be shipped directly to the processing team.

Of all her many accomplishments, Judy was most proud that she was the first woman President of the Porsche Club of America. Truly a "people person" with a warm and wonderful personality, Judy will be greatly missed by all her many friends who remember her with fondness.
