----SEPTEMBER 2025 EDITION----

Hello fellow Alamo Ranch Neighbors,

Things are getting busy around the grants! Our community yard sale and bulk pick up day is at the end of September and early October (see fliers below)

We're going to try something this year for the yard sale day that's never been done, but has been requested. We're going to offer the clubhouse parking lot as a means for residents to sell their yard sale items on yard sale day. They will get one parking space with a space between the next one, and you will need to register with the office beforehand. Limited spaces available, it will cost $5, and only yard sale items can be sold. This is to help the people who live on culdesacs or non-busy streets that don't get much traffic during community sale days. No food or vendor set-ups this time around, please. Register at your own risk, no guarantees it will be better than your driveway, but its an option.

The board is aware of the new playground being slightly smaller than the old one and are looking at solutions to possibly fill in the dead space.

The two pocket park areas are not quite done, but please give me or the office feedback about them and how often you are using them. The board would like to know so we can approve some funds for more pocket parks in other grants, but we need to know if they are going to be used before allowing funds to be earmarked in the 2026 budget.

Again, our Annual meeting will be here before we know it, and we will have 4 spots on the board open for election. The deadline to apply for the board has ended. We only received two applications, and therefore, there will not be an election at the annual meeting. New members will be accepted by acclamation. If you feel you missed the deadline by mistake, you’re welcome to apply, and after the annual meeting, the elected board members can vote to approve new board members.

As always, if you have any questions/comments, please feel free to email me.
