Communication Boards at Parks

Communication board have been installed at Broward County Parks.

Over the past year, Broward County Parks has installed communication boards at Broward County parks' playgrounds, splash pads, and water parks. Communication boards are a tool utilized to assist non-verbal individuals to communicate. These boards have general phrases and pictures to help depict common words used at the facility (such as playground or splash pad). The project was funded by the Parks Foundation of Broward County, created by Parks Marketing and Special Populations, and manufactured in-house and installed by the Park’s Sign Shop.
