September Staff Spotlight: Meet Karolyn!
This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Karolyn, our Intake Manager.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Karolyn brings valuable clinical experience to our Intake and Referral Department. As one of the first friendly voices many hear when they call Community Nurse, she helps answer questions, assists with referrals, and guides patients and families through their options. Even when we’re unable to provide the service someone needs, Karolyn goes the extra mile to connect them with other resources in the community.
Karolyn also recently stepped in front of the camera, volunteering to appear in our new Community Nurse TV commercial!

What’s something about you that your coworkers might be surprised to learn?
“I was a zombie in an independent movie!”
Before appearing in our Community Nurse commercial, Karolyn already had a little experience in front of the camera, although in a very different role! We love learning these fun and unexpected things about our team.
Karolyn’s clinical knowledge, compassion, and commitment to helping others make her a valued member of the Community Nurse team.
