In case you missed it ...

Ask a Jew Crew: Chayah Leah Sufrin (left), Nadav Eyal (center) and Yael Bar Tur after their first live event at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse.

As part of the JHJC Forum on Israel and the Changing World, we produced the first Ask a Jew Podcast Live!, and you can watch or listen HERE. Yael and Chayah Leah invited award-winning Israeli journalist Nadav Eyal for a very thought-provoking live podcast at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse. They talked about the maddening intricacies of the upcoming Israeli elections, Netanyahu, antisemitism on college campuses, and post-Oct 7 life for Jews. Nadav also posted a clip from the event to his social media, highlighting a powerful question from one of our members. Please watch HERE.

The end ... what a crazy week!

Spirit of the Mountains Summer Camp

JHJC Building Open House and First Shabbats

Packing Day ...Oy

Blessings and farewell to our Centennial Building space. It may not have been the most elegant place to worship, but for 10 years, it was our rock - an affordable, stable home where we could hang our mezuzah, gather as a community, and thrive and grow. It gave us the foundation to dream big and, ultimately, to build a makom, a "place", of our own.
