Dear Parents,

I Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray continually. Each morning our teachers are gathering for prayer.
  • We are intentionally praying for our families.
  • We are asking the Lord to grow our students in knowledge, wisdom and godly character.

As in years past, on Wednesday, September 23, our students will participate in See You at the Pole. This global day of student prayer began in 1990 as a grassroots movement with ten students gathered for prayer. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September. Read more about the event HERE.

What a privilege for our students, faculty, and staff to join this prayer event.

This year, individual classes will gather at our flagpole and pray throughout the day. Since this is an outdoor event and students will be socially distanced, masks will not be required for them.

Parents are cordially invited to stop by school and join your hearts in prayer with ours. If you are able to attend, meet us at the flagpole during your child’s assigned time slot and sign in with their teacher. We kindly ask that adults wear masks.

You do not have to be on campus to participate! If possible, set an alarm and stop and spend those same moments in unified prayer with us.

Please see the schedule below with the time each class will gather for prayer.

Did you know that there are 13 international students enrolled at ECA this year?

These students are fully engaged in their education and the life-changing experience they are enjoying with their host families.

Right now, there are students interested in attending Eden Christian Academy who need host families!

When you open your home as a host family, you have the opportunity to:
  • Build life-long relationships
  • Share God’s love and grace with an international student
  • Learn about a different culture

ECA’s international program provides:
  • Liaison support for both the host family and student
  • A monthly stipend for the host family
And, international students cover their own personal expenses.

Would you like to learn more? Please contact Jennifer Cranston, ECA International Director, at or 412-716-4672
