ONE COMMUNITY LUNCHEON

For years Dayspring has supported the Arizona ONE Community’s Spotlight on Success Local Heroes award luncheon by volunteering to help on the day of the event. This year’s event is on October 18, from 11:30 – 1:30 at the Sheraton Downtown in Phoenix. One Community initiated the UNITY Pledge, a concerted effort by Arizona businesses, organizations, and individuals to advance workplace equality and equal treatment in housing, workforce, and public accommodations. If you would like to volunteer, contact David Barnhouse or Suzanne Harbster. For more information on ONE Community, check out their website.

FAMILY PROMISE COLLECTION

We are collecting donations of new, reusable water bottles, kitchen supplies, kid socks, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, and Halloween costumes for Family Promise. Please look for the collection bin in the narthex.

By donating these supplies, you're extending a helping hand to families striving for stability and independence. Each contribution ensures parents have what they need to take care of their little ones while pursuing brighter futures. Together, we can touch the lives of these families, reassuring them that they aren't alone in their journey.

UMOM COLLECTION

We are also collecting for UMOM’s Magnolia Street Donation Center. The most urgent need is for the following items (in order of need):

  • Size 3t-4t and 4t-5t Disposable Training Pants (Pull-Ups)
  • Dish Soap (in 6–10-ounce containers)
  • Bath Towels
  • Hand Towels
  • Bathmats (preferably with a non-slip backing - see sample)
  • Toilet Paper

There is a donation bin in the narthex. Thank you!
