Several Carver students spent Sunday, 9/16 engaging the world in the company of many Sacramento organizations as part of a global and local effort to raise awareness about compassionate action in civic life. Compassionate Sacramento Launch - 916 Day was held at McClatchy Park.
Weekly Announcements

Some important reminders:
  • Picture Day is Monday!
  • California Ed Code prohibits the distribution of homemade foods on campus. Students are not allowed to bring food to share.  Also, please ensure that your student does not bring energy drinks, sodas or other sugary drinks on campus. We will safely store any foods or drinks of this sort in the office until the end of the day. Your students' health and safety is important to us.
  • A reminder that we have a Gate to Gate electronics policy.  Students are to store all electronics in their back packs unless instructed by a teacher.

This is your student's first year at Carver - now what? You're invited to a New Parent Orientation at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27 where seasoned parents will give you information and tips on how to navigate your student's time at Carver. Help Plant Trees at Carver
On Saturday, Oct. 6 the City of Rancho Cordova will join forces with Sacramento City Unified School District to celebrate Green Apple Day of Service and plant trees at Abraham Lincoln, A.M. Winn and Carver! The day begins with a pancake breakfast hosted by Carver at 7:30 a.m. after which students, parents and faculty will drive to their respective schools to plant trees. Electric Griddles Needed for Senior Sunrise!
On Friday, Oct. 12 at 6:45 a.m. we will enjoy Senior Sunrise! All 12th graders arrive at 6:45 a.m. to see the sunrise at 7:15 a.m. and then eat a hearty breakfast.  Please let us know if you can coordinate, contribute items and/or help prepare food; we specifically need to borrow electric griddles to prepare the food.
