Happy Thursday! 🌟
What an exciting week it has been! Our students wrapped up MAP testing, Parent-Teacher Conferences are happening today and tomorrow, you all get to enjoy a well-deserved chance to sleep in!
On Tuesday, I taught the very first class in our Innovation Lab, and the students were thrilled to finally step inside. They started by learning all the rules to keep the space in top shape, then explored the tools they’ll be using all year long. We also discussed the big idea behind innovation: improving something to make life better. It was so much fun watching their creativity spark—I could practically see the light bulbs coming on! 💡
Note to the teacher (me): cute shoes and a headband… rookie mistake. Next week, it’s tennis shoes and a messy sisterlock bun for sure! 😂 Check out photos below on FACEBOOK button. Also, don't forget to follow us.
Please check your child’s bag on Monday for the permission slip for our Sight & Sound trip to see Noah in Lancaster, PA. All details are on the form. Funds and permission slips are due by October 31. After that date, tickets must be purchased directly from Sight & Sound. We will also send this electronically.
Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our Sponsor-A-Tool Amazon list! Items are coming in, but we still need micro:bits and Arduinos to give our students even more hands-on experiences. We appreciate you so much!
Have a wonderful weekend, and we’ll see you bright and early Monday morning!
