The Ybor City Historical Society is proud to announce that the second annual ¡VIVA! fundraising event is set to be held on November 9th, 2024, at the J.C. Newman Cigar Company! The theme this year is Speakeasy Soirée. There will be a wine pull, bolita, a cigar roller, and more. Patrons can enjoy dancing, food, and drinks from local venues!

Lions World Vision Institute Unveils Vision Health Center to Transform Community Eye Care in Tampa Bay

In a visionary move to advance ocular health and education, the Lions World Vision Institute (LWVI) proudly announces the development of a new Vision Health Center in collaboration with the USF Health Eye Institute. This state-of-the-art facility, located in Ybor City and expected to open in 2026, will serve as a hub for top-tier vision care and as a national model for how to facilitate research and provide comprehensive services to underserved communities.
