Dear Carondelet Community,
This upcoming week, we are celebrating the time honored tradition of Homecoming Week! Carondelet and De La Salle student leadership is proud to present the theme—HoCo in Hollywood. Our students have been hard at work this past month to provide a week filled with fun lunchtime activities, dress up themes inspired by famous Hollywood movies, as well as celebrating many of our shared traditions together.
Monday's theme is Sleeping Beauty. We will start the week off with collectively crowning our CHS and DLS Homecoming Court at lunch in the Carondelet Amp. Students are allowed to wear pajamas, but like every day of Homecoming, all tops must be full length with sleeves, all bottoms must be mid-thigh or longer (free from holes or rips), and all shoes must be closed toe and closed heel—so no slippers!
Tuesday's theme is La La Land, where we will have CHS vs. DLS teachers in a competitive Dodgeball game! Students can dress in their favorite band tee or as their favorite musician or musical character!
Wednesday's theme is The Sandlot, where we will have our annual Cougar Bowl, a friendly flag football competition between Junior and Senior girls. This game will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and features performances from Cheer and JV Dance! Students can wear their favorite jersey or blue or pink to root for the Juniors or Seniors!
Thursday's theme is The Parent Trap, where we will have an amazing Obstacle Course Relay on the DLS football field! All are welcome to participate. Students can dress up as their favorite duo or iconic group!
Thursday night, we have our annual Homecoming Volleyball Games!
Friday's theme is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and we have our joint rallies! Every year, we switch locations, so this year we have the Frosh/Soph rally at DL and the Juniors/Senior rally at Carondelet. We hope these rallies are glamorous and hype! Make sure to go all out in your class colors!
Why not have one “big game” when you can have two? DLS also invites you to the Homecoming Football Game on Friday night, where they will face off against Cathedral Catholic at 7:15 PM. We will have a special joint performance from both Varsity Cheer and Varsity Dance, and a final presentation of the Homecoming Court at halftime!
Lastly, we can’t wait for students to attend the dance on Saturday. Our theme is Dancing in the Stars! Freshmen and Sophomores are at CHS, and Juniors and Seniors are at DLS. Ticket prices go up tomorrow, so grab your dance tickets today!

| | | Carondelet Faculty and Staff are ALL IN! | |
This week marked the end of our annual Faculty/Staff Fundraising Appeal, when all employees are invited to make a personal gift of support to an area of campus meaningful to them. For context, the national average philanthropic participation rate for secondary educational institutions is 30%.
For the second year running, the dedicated, mission-focused adults who serve at our school every day reached 100% participation within two weeks.
This collective endorsement of Carondelet’s priorities and vision is a testament to the dedication and passion with which our employees approach their jobs. Their commitment to our students is evident every day and we are deeply grateful for their strong vote of confidence.
Here’s to the best in the business!
