Stewardship Season Celebration October 6
Bring your pledge cards this Sunday! | Submit Pledge Online
Join us for an ice cream social and special music this Sunday between worship services at 10 AM to celebrate God’s Money Story in our congregation. We’ll be celebrating your continued generosity as we share our financial commitments for 2025.
This September, we’ve worked to Remember our money stories, both with the helpful and painful parts, and learned to Release some of our fears or anxiety around money. We’ve been called through the scriptures and Holy Spirit to Reimagine a money story and a world with enough for all, if we would have the courage to share our abundant blessings. Finally, we strive to Restore the balance between the needs of our community and the financial resources God has entrusted to us.
As you consider your money story and the chapters we’ll write together as a congregation in 2025, we invite you to make a financial commitment to First Church this week. Pledge cards are in the mail and we encourage everyone to bring them to worship this Sunday. You may also submit your pledge online at fumcsd.org/pledge2025. We look forward to celebrating with you this Sunday!
