Happy Friday!
September has arrived, bringing cooler mornings, a little rain and those first hints of color in the leaves. Harvest got an especially early start this year, and judging by everything coming up, the rest of the Valley has been just as busy as the wine industry!
Now, please indulge me with this one: I really did try to keep this E-News short. Even after narrowing it down to just a sliver of the Valley’s events, this issue still turned into quite a scroll... September is busy, busy, busy (and so are we)!
Between the harvest celebrations and all the other fun, take a moment to meet our newest members, see the new grants available to the community and check out this issue’s job opportunities. There’s full-time, part-time and occasional work, so even if you’re not looking, you might spot something perfect for someone you know.
Happy reading, and I hope to see you out enjoying September!

Bringing Ideas (and Life) to Town
A lot of what we do happens behind the scenes. One of the benefits of Chamber membership is taking part in initiatives bigger than a single-business promotion. Our team works year-round with local businesses, the Town of Yountville, organizations and associations throughout the Valley, and our community to turn shared ideas into something everyone can enjoy.
This year, one of those ideas is coming to life with Yountville’s very first HalloWine Walk! On Saturday, October 24, from noon to 4 p.m., businesses throughout town will be paired with Yountville-area wineries for an afternoon of wine tasting... think trick-or-treating for adults!
The goal is to encourage people to stroll along Washington Street, visit participating businesses and discover more of our community along the way. It’s about bringing individual businesses together to create a town-wide experience that benefits our business community while giving locals and visitors another fun way to enjoy Yountville. After all, we’re a town that knows how to come together, and we hope to see plenty of you out in costume on October 24!
