A special thank you to Matt Taverna , husband of our Policy Officer Ellen Taverna , for organizing a birthday fundraiser for The Arc of Massachusetts. Matt spent his birthday boxing for The Arc and soliciting donations from his Facebook friends, bringing in nearly $1,700 in support of our mission. Grandparents can play important roles in the lives of children. Grandparents can teach new skills; play games; and provide wisdom, family history, a sense of humor, an ear to listen, emotional support, and unconditional love! 2019 Transition Conference
Registration is officially open!
This full day conference, welcoming families of loved ones ages 12-26 and professionals, will be held on Saturday, November 16 at the Hogan Campus Center at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. Registration is $75 per person .

Participants will learn about philosophies on inclusion, tips for accessing community recreation, understanding different program models, overcoming barriers, and exploring benefits.
