We host our annual Flu Shot Clinic on Sunday, September 15 from 8:30am until noon in Room 112. You do not need to be a member of Dayspring to participate. Costs vary, depending on insurance. Immunizations for persons age four and up. No appointment necessary.

Bishop Yvette Flunder, third-generation preacher and voice for justice in the church house, at the White House, and on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court, will preach and sing at our 10:00am service and speak on "The Church's Last Great Blind Spot" at 1:00pm in the Sanctuary on September 22. Our next monthly Taizé Prayer Service is at 4:00pm on September 22 in the Fellowship Hall. Gathered in the presence of Christ, this is a time of meditative common prayer, allowing the mystery of God to become known through the beauty of simplicity.

Are you seeking a vibrant and inclusive expression of the Christian faith? Pastor Jeff will facilitate the third and final flight of Living the Questions, called Call to Covenant, at Friendship Village Tempe. This seven-week study will meet Tuesdays, starting September 24, from 1:00-2:30pm in the Friendship Village Mesquite Lounge. 

Congress made important investments in the climate crisis in 2022, and the Environmental Protection Agency adopted new rules to reduce air pollution and greenhouse emissions. This progress is under attack by powerful interests. The U.S. House has voted 31 times to repeal or cut the Inflation Reduction Act, which includes the largest climate investments in American history. They have threatened to slash climate-smart agriculture investments in the Farm Bill and are attempting to use the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to overturn new EPA protections. Tell Congress you expect them to care for creation by signing the Petition to Defend our Climate from Interfaith Power & Light.
