After School Activity Registration Open Now

After school activity registration is now open! Please return the registration form WITH payment (cash or check to TCGIS) to the office by September 20. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you've submitted registration materials, there will be no confirmation of enrollment. If we are unable to process your registration due to the class filling up we will contact families on an individual basis.

Represent and Support TCGIS! Alle Sind Hier Herzlich Willkommen!!

Our customized "All Are Welcome Here" = "Alle Sind Hier Herzlich Wilkommen" signs are our first fundraiser of the year. You can buy one for a teacher, EA, intern, classroom or TCGIS neighbor. Signs are $20 each and are a perfect way to share the message of inclusivity, respect, love and dignity for all, while promoting German and TCGIS!!  Visit our  TCGIS Square Store  to place your order, and if you want to donate the sign write your intention in the comment field at checkout. You can now pick up your pre-orderd signs in the TCGIS foyer on Thursdays after school from Dianne Bell.



MCA Test Results 2017-18

MCA test results have arrived and are available for pick up by a parent/guardian in the front office until September 14th. Any remaining after 9/14 will be mailed to the student's home address.
Facility Committee Update

The TCGIS Facility Committee generally meets the second Tuesday of the month.  Committee meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is September 11, 2018 at 6:00 PM, Room 99. We will be discussing the building project demo permit status, site plan status, and Design Survey Summary.

The Design Survey Summary can be found on the building project website. 261 people responded to the survey. Thank you for taking the time to share your input.
TCGIS Car Magnets are Back!

For a limited time you can make an online donation and receive a TCGIS car magnet or window cling. Donate at our online TCGIS square store and pick up your magnet on  September 6 OR  September 13  from 3:30-4pm in the foyer outside the office. All donations go to support professional development for teachers! Sorry, no shipping!

PTO Announcements
FIRST PTO Meeting of the year!  Thursday September 6th at 6:30pm at school. Join us for conversations and refreshments as we kick off this school year! Agenda is available here

3rd Grade: Thank you for signing up for the Intern Breakfast on  September 10th. We are full! 

7th/8th Grades: Just a few more spots to fill! Please sign up here to contribute to the first 1/2 day early release potluck for staff on  September 12th

Regional Picnics:  Come meet other families in your neighborhood and set up play dates, arrange carpools or bus buddies at the regional potluck picnic. Bring a dish to share. There are four locations to join us on September 15 from 5-7pm: Central Bus area: Mattocks Park St. Paul, North Bus area: Cummings Park in Arden Hills, South Bus Area: Longfellow Park in Minneapolis, and Como Neighborhood: Lexington Park in Roseville

GAI Announcements
St. Paul Oktoberfest-Minnesota's most authentic! Activities and events for young and old! Friday, September 14, 4-10 p.m. | Saturday, September 15, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Fall Classes are starting soon! 
Samstagsschule begins September 15. The GAI now offers ADVANCED German classes for High School students. If you are the parent of a TCGIS alumni, your teenager may want to register for Teen Treff or Teens Intensiv https://gai-mn.org/German-for-Teens
