Dear Parents,
We had a wonderful first week of school! Everyone is adjusting very well and getting used to new environments, teachers, friends, and schedules. We are very excited to be here and back in the swing of things. We are glad you are along for this wonderful journey with us! Welcome to the 2024-25 school year.
We want you to be a part of the learning experience with us. We encourage 100% parent participation in all we do including field trips, school events, family events, and all other school and extracurricular activities. Communication and participation are key to the success of every student, connecting home, school, and family. In an effort to keep all people in our school family safe, we are requesting that all parents take the Safeguarding class. This is a requirement from the Archdiocese for ALL adults who volunteer, help, attend field trips, and other school activities. Safety is a top priority. Please see the information below and plan to attend one of the upcoming classes. You must register online so we receive verification that you attended the class. It is a one-time class that is good for life and is very informative to parents.
Our first family, school, parish event is happening next weekend, September 15 and you won't want to miss it. It is our Parish Fall Festival and OPEN HOUSE (to the public) for our new daycare. There is something for everyone - especially children. There will be a home-made family style dinner, kid and adult games, prizes, raffles, baked goods, and family fun! The day begins with Mass at 9:00 AM in the church. Our kids, grade Kindergarten through 8 will be singing for mass (permission slip here) with dinner to follow in the cafeteria and games in the gym. Please come to support our school and parish.
Ask your kids what great things they are learning about and please see the teacher information that will be sent home weekly or biweekly. Let's make it a great year together. Thank you for your partnership in educating your children.
