Our annual Ministry Fair is this September 10, following the 10:00 service in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great opportunity to learn more about all the incredible things happening at our church!

We host our annual Flu Shot Clinic on Sunday, September 10 from 9:15am until noon in the Fellowship Hall. You do not need to be a member of Dayspring to participate. Costs vary, depending on insurance. Immunizations for persons age 4 and over. No appointment necessary.

We are in the works on a new ministry and will have more info soon. Please be on the lookout for future announcements. However, there is a way for you to get involved; be sure to stop by the Ministry Fair and find the table for Young Adults. Please leave your name and contact information so we can keep you updated! 

We are honored to host Temple Emanuel during their High Holy Days again this year. They will hold Rosh Hashanah services on the evening of September 15 and during the day of September 16. They will also hold a Kol Nidre service the evening of September 24 and Yom Kippur service all day September 25.

If you happen to see any of our Jewish siblings on these days and would like to welcome them, “Happy New Year” is appropriate to say on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. “Have a meaningful holiday” is appropriate to say on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Of course “Happy holiday” or simply “Welcome to Dayspring” is always appropriate!

Thank you in advance for being gracious hosts and for your patience with any additional parking challenges this may cause. Also, you will notice armed, uniformed security while Temple Emanuel is holding their services. Unfortunately, this is standard practice for many mosques and synagogues these days and the temple leadership works with local and national law enforcement to provide as safe an environment as possible.

Together, let's embark on this exciting journey to reshape Sunday mornings at Dayspring Tempe into something even more extraordinary!

The Taizé service comes from the ecumenical community of Taizé, France. Gathered in the presence of Christ, this is a time of meditative common prayer. During the service, we sing uncomplicated, repetitive songs, uncluttered by too many words, allowing the mystery of God to become known through the beauty of simplicity. We are looking forward to joining the Paradise Valley United Methodist Church Youth and many other valley UMC youth groups on September 17th for Youth Ignited!
