Celebrate our Students
Peabody students continually amaze us with their extracurricular activities, and we love to know what they are working on outside of their time at school!

If your child has received any special achievements in the arts, athletics, external academic endeavors, or community service, please let us know so that we may recognize them within our Peabody community.  Please send any notifications to  [email protected].

Upcoming Fall Events

Congratulations to our Peabody Musicians!
Peabody is very proud of 8th grader Julia Nagel, who was selected as 2nd chair for flute for the High School Youth Symphony, which is part of the Youth Orchestra of Central Virginia (YOSC).  Founded in 1977, the Youth Symphony is the senior orchestra and consists of approximately 50 members, ranging from grades 9 to 12, performing original orchestral masterworks.  Julia was also selected to be in the Charlottesville Flute Ensemble, another YOSC program.  To learn more: www.yocva.org

Congratulations also to 8th graders Anya Le and Kiran Kublock-Shukla, and 7th grader Kat Ravichandran, who all auditioned and were selected to be a part of the middle school YOSC program called the Evans Orchestra.  The Rita M. Evans Orchestra was founded in 1984 and consists of approximately 60 middle school and junior high musicians, performing arranged orchestral works.  Anya also plays in the Traditional Ensemble for the Blue Ridge Irish Music School (BRIMS).

We are so proud of you!
