More Cats Saved Thanks to Dennis Schick
Thanks to a generous supporter, we are placing more cats in homes and raising more money for Saving Pets Challenge—two big wins for animals
|
|
|
Dennis Schick of Re/Max Alliance is a true animal lover and longtime supporter of Animal Friends Alliance, both professionally and personally. He can be found sponsoring events, donating, and is a Hero level BizPAW supporter.
Each year during the Saving Pets Challenge crowdfunder, Dennis generously sponsors cat adoption fees and creates his own Saving Pets Challenge fundraiser for adopters to donate to in lieu of a standard adoption fee.
Dennis began sponsoring on Friday September 17th and will continue until September 24th! We have had 38 cat adoptions so far, and have raised $1,145 towards our overall goal of $150,000.

Saving Pets Challenge Going Strong
As we enter the week 4 of the month-long 2021 Saving Pets Challenge crowdfunder, we wanted to take a moment to thank our supporters who have shared and donated thus far. At the start of the challenge, generous secret operative donors pledged to match $37,500 in funds raised, and we are so happy to report that we have reached that goal and received our match, for a current amount raised totaling $79,505.
We are getting so much closer to our overall goal of $150,000, and we need your help to reach this goal before September 30th! Click here to learn more about how you can help raise awareness, crowdfund, and donate!

Meet Fisher!
Our 7 year old bachelor Fisher is looking for a home that he can really relax in. He is an absolute sweet goofball but needs a peaceful and patient home in order to thrive. Strangers coming into the home can be a little scary for Fisher, so he needs some guidance in order to learn that they are not scary, they are really there to give him lots of love and treats!
Our volunteers report that Fisher LOVES to get out and about on walks and sniff anything he can! He is a great leash walker and appreciates a coffee run on the way back for a treat or puppaccino!
|
|
You can meet Fisher at our Taft Hill shelter and you can learn more by calling (970) 484-8516 or visiting our website. If you're not in a place to adopt a special guy like Fisher, you can also donate to support his care!
