Information Corner

We are excited to announce training sessions for CPR, and AEDs, as well as administering NARCAN. Scheduled for August 21, September 11, and September 17, each session will provide valuable insights and empower us all to be prepared if an emergency should arise. Training sessions are from 8 am – 12 pm and will be held in the driver’s training room at Public Works. There are 20 seats available per class, so be sure to register soon!

Please make sure that floor leaders/department representatives participate so we can all comply with the latest training.

Please use the link below to log in and under the tab CCG, register under driver’s training.

Please take the time to complete the Tobacco Affidavit/Wellness Incentive form on E-Forms before October 18, 2024.

Review all options of the tobacco affidavit before submitting. You will only have one chance to submit the form. If you select option 2 on the tobacco affidavit, you are required to attach the tobacco certificate of completion to submit the form. (the certificate must be attached before October 18, 2024, to avoid the tobacco surcharge for 2025).  There will be no need to contact Human Resources when you have completed the tobacco session classes. We will receive a list of those participants. Any tobacco surcharges incurred in 2024 will be REFUNDED in the month of December 2024.

If you are unfamiliar with Neogov, I have attached instructions to complete the forms and to complete the tobacco cessation sessions. If you do not have a username/password or forgot your username/password, please contact the Human Resources Employment Team (Kelly Denham, Maria Thomas, George Marshbanks) at 706-653-4059 to assist.

*Note: ONLY employees enrolled in CCG’s medical plan or will enroll in the medical plan in 2025 should complete the tobacco affidavit/wellness incentive forms.

Please DO NOT inter-office, email or fax the Tobacco Affidavit or Wellness Incentive forms to Human Resources. Both forms should be submitted on E-Forms at https://eforms.neogov.com/self-service/portal .

Remember, if you are on FMLA, vacation or administrative leave etc., the tobacco affidavit should be completed by October 18, 2024, to avoid the tobacco surcharges in 2025. No late forms will be accepted.

Click the links below to view the instructions on Tobacco Affidavit/Wellness and CareATC instructions on completing the cessation form.

MCP participated in the annual National Night out. It was a great honor joining in with many other public safety/law enforcement professionals as we visited the citizens of Columbus.

Kayla Elliott who's an employee for Deputy Clerk in the Superior Criminal Courts in Ms. Danielle Forte’s Office is the owner of, Yoga With Kween, she had the pleasure of hosting a Silent Yoga & Sip In The Park down at Woodruff Riverfront Park.

During the event, individuals wore headphones to surround themselves with vibes while participating in a yoga flow guided by her. Following the yoga session participants mingled while indulging in light snacks and wine.
