SEPTEMBER COMMUNITY UPDATE
Get ready for a Wild Wonderful Weekend, September 24-26, featuring the high-energy rock band American Authors. This weekend celebration of Colorado’s first Certified Wild community — Centerra — kicks off Friday night with an interactive foam party for kids, teens (wild adults are welcome too!) at the Centerra Marketplace. The fun continues Saturday at Chapungu, with a free ticketed, live concert by American Authors. Participate in morning and daytime activations courtesy of High Plains Environmental Center (HPEC) and The Promenade Shops at Centerra. This “wild” event, brought to you by Centerra Engagement Assembly, will benefit HPEC. Don't delay and reserve your tickets now to attend the Foam Party and Concert in the Park, before they're gone! We're celebrating back to school! Grab dinner on the go, or bring a chair and stay for the party. A live DJ will entertain us while we dine on tasty mobile munchies prepared by local chefs. Pickleball Open House - September 21 | 8AM to 8PM
NORCO Volleyball Club, 4539 Viking Way
No matter your level of experience, the community is invited to drop in throughout the day to enjoy a fun filled Pickleball experience at NORCO Volleyball Club in Centerra. Ten courts will be available, supplied with complimentary equipment. All levels can learn the game from experienced instructors and enjoy fun giveaways, treats and more! Community Spotlight: Cookies for Kids Cancer
If you haven't met Daniela Ortiz, now's the perfect time! She was recently featured on Denver7 to share her story and has spent the last five years raising money for Cookies for Kids Cancer by hosting annual neighborhood bake sales in Centerra. She has raised $14,000 for kids cancer research and continues to increase her goal in an effort to help others.

Here's a few ways we can rally as a community to support Daniela in her fundraising journey and help her exceed her goals:

Pastels on 5th is a free, family-friendly, community-wide sidewalk chalk art festival where artists and businesses, come together to transform 5th Street into a spectacular sidewalk gallery. This event is designed to highlight the thriving Loveland arts community and serve as a benefit for Alternatives to Violence. Centerra is proud to sponsor a local artist featured at the festival and support ATV.
