I want to start by saying how pleased I am of all you businesses that have helped Defiance grow over these last several years. I look forward to us continuing the forward movement and achieving even greater opportunities for all.
I believe there's a definite value in having a strong Chamber in a community and together we can accomplish that goal. Like any structure, even in organizations, everything begins with a solid foundation on which to build and that will be my focus over the next few months. Your help will be needed via your participation and consul because it is not just one person but a collective group, in this case the Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce. So my closing statement for this month is "Let's get to work, the challenge is ours!"
