Hospice Support Services
The Hospice Support Services Fund provides assistance with expenses not covered by insurance to Danville-Pittsylvania County residents who have elected hospice benefits. The fund is paid out annually to Southern Area Agency on Aging and the Danville Cancer Association. Individuals may contact these organizations to apply for assistance.
Gifts can be made in memory of family members and friends directly to the Fund through the Community Foundation. Memorial notices will be sent to the family upon request.

We are currently accepting applications for the Halifax County Grant Cycle. In order to apply your organization must serve the citizens of Halifax County and must have a have a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in good standing. Applications will be due

Danville Symphony Orchestra Endowment
The Danville Symphony Orchestra recently received their first distribution from the Endowment Fund they created with the Community Foundation!
The Symphony has continually improved in musicianship and presentation throughout its history. Approximately 90 volunteers donate their time and talent for the cultural benefit of the Danville community, and the love of making good music.
