The world is getting back to work, with a new view on safety, security and the Building Internet of Things (BIoT). BACnet International has been diligently working to ensure the future is both secure and open for business.
Last month we announced the release of BTL Test Package 16.1.2. - the addendum that contains tests for BACnet Secure Connect (BACnet/SC) functionality. In the coming weeks we will be announcing a new offering for BACnet/SC Interoperability Acceleration Program participants, Corporate Members, and non-member companies. We believe this will be well received so keep an eye out for the announcement.
The need for using standardized and often already present IP network infrastructures for BACnet communication is increasing, and this security is a critical piece in the networking of building technologies.
