Membership options are noted below:

  • Leadership 500 allows members to pay their annual dues and the up-front ticket costs to attend all of LHC's regular General Membership breakfast and lunch events, the Thought Leaders Speaker Series, and the Big Event. L500 rates range from the standard rate of $500 to $350 for retirees, those employed by a nonprofit with less than 25 employees, and Leadership Essential graduates. Also, L500 members earn double "Best Class Ever" points for paying dues.
  • Leadership Premier Standard/Business - $210
  • Leadership Premier Retiree & Non-Profits (with less than 25 employees) - $110
  • Leadership Essentials - $60

Recruiting Now for Leadership Essentials 2023

The Leadership Essentials (LE) program team from Loyola University Maryland is excited about the upcoming year! LE is a six-month program designed for emerging leaders who have demonstrated their abilities and want to enhance their commitment to developing their leadership skills. The program consists of 3 main components: Leadership skill development sessions, individual coaching, and a community impact project.


Interest in the 2023 program is building; the program will begin in December and run through early June 2023. The program is seeking emerging leader participants; non-profit organizations to host a Community Impact Project and Volunteer coaches for the Leadership Essentials cohort.


Applications are now being accepted for:

  • LE 2023 Program Participant
  • New Coaches and,
  • Community Impact Project Hosts

Ohana Howard County volunteers work with Howard County students to empower them to overcome barriers and achieve self-defined success. Attend a virtual information session on Wednesday, September 7, beginning at 8:30 am to learn more.  Register here.


September has been declared Emergency Preparedness Month.  The Howard County Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD) encourages folks to check out their Facebook Page and consider attending some of their events that will certainly feature much-needed, critical information.
