Spotlight of the Month
WBRT & WOKH

The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize WBRT and WOKH as Spotlight of the Month.

The Bardstown Radio Team is proud to be a part of the Bardstown Chamber of Commerce and is also proud to call Bardstown our home. Since 2009 the Bardstown Radio Team has continued to grow and invest in the communities that it serves. Since the purchase of WBRT in 2009 we have continued to expand our products to the benefit of this community. We now broadcast a portion of our day live on Bardstown Cable Channel 19, we broadcast on both 97.1 fm in Bardstown and for the last three years on 94.9 fm in Lebanon. Four years ago we purchased WOKH 102.7 FM The Rocket and have expanded and improved its line-up of local announcers while adding studio and offices in Lebanon. The Bardstown Radio Team has worked hard this past year to help our communities survive during the pandemic. We believe our efforts have helped many small businesses adapt to an altered business model that has allowed them to survive. This battle is not over and we will continue to help our communities as best we can. That means that 7 days a week we are challenged to inform, entertain, and enlighten the listeners to our radio stations. We firmly believe that our local radio stations are the best form of communications in good times and maybe even more important in times like we have witnessed this year. Our commitment is to the listener and to our community. The business community benefits from this as their messages are broadcast from a reliable, trusted, and locally owned company that has only the community it serves and lives in at heart.

In closing, the staff of WBRT and WOKH Radio Stations must be thanked for their efforts. What they have done makes what the Bardstown Radio Team do possible. Without their efforts our growth would never have been possible.
