Hello Ladies of the Daughters of Erin,
Fall season is here! We're ready to start a new year. Thank you to all the membership of the Daughters of Erin and family and friends who worked very hard for our organization this past summer including the fundraising table at the Shamrock Club Music festival, working together to bake scones, served our home-baked goods and scones at the Dublin Irish Festival Tea Room.
For those of you who are new to the DOE, we meet the second Sunday of each month at 1 p.m. at Trinity School near St. Christopher Church, 1420 Grandview Ave.
Thank you to everyone who helped! We are excited to welcome new members and grow the Daughters of Erin membership this year.

SEPTEMBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The September meeting is Sunday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. at Trinity School, Saint Christopher Church.
Hospitality asks us to bring your favorite back-to-school treat to the meeting. Watch for updates after the Sept. meeting. Thank you, Patty and Maureen.

CHARITIES
We are collecting school supplies at the September meeting. If you have a school you know who needs supplies, please let Cheryl know! Thank you.
We be collecting donations for the Marine Corps Family Support Community again in October. The website is marinecorpsfamilysc.org and a Facebook page @ Marine Corps Family Support Community.
The need is for the following items:
- "Jif to go" packets
- Beef jerkey
- Pop Tarts
- Individual cereal boxes, nuts, trail mix, raisins, crackers or cookies
- Protein Bars
In November & December, we will be collecting for our adopt-a-families. If you know of a family that may need assistance during the holidays, please contact Cheryl. All participants will be kept confidential.
We are accepting applications for the annual charity donations. If you know of a central Ohio nonprofit organization in need of financial assistance, please send a letter to a Board Member by Saturday, Oct. 1.

DART LEAGUE BEGINS IN SEPTEMBER
The Daughters of Erin Dart League is looking for new members! Ladies play on the first and third Thursdays each month. You must be a member in good standing in one of the Irish groups, DOE, LAOH, Emerald Society or Shamrock Club, and pay dart dues of $5.00 per year. We play for fun and friendship, even if you've never darted before, you will definitely have a great time learning how to dart!
If you are interested, we're seeking new teams and additional players for existing teams. Subs are needed every week, stop by to check it out! Try it - you might like it!!

PRAYER LINE
Please keep our members and those on the prayer list in your thoughts and prayers. Please pray for Mary Sue Taub, Peggy Shanahan, Carol Spears, Mary Lynch, Suzy Lhamon, Chris and Terry McKenzie.
Please pray for peace around the world and continue to pray for all. We also pray for all those in the military, police and healthcare workers.

TRIP TO IRELAND 2023
Kevin Cain of The Hooligans is planning a trip to Ireland, May 6-15, 2023.
He is working with CIC Tours to organize the trip, based on 40 people going, the cost will be @ $2800 per person.

We are also selling badges with a lanyard, choose five badges from past years and receive a lanyard to put them on for $5!
