| MONTHLY AFFILIATE CALL: OVERCOMING VACCINE HESITANCY | The September Monthly Affiliate Call will feature Megan Petersen, PhD, MPH, W-EMT, who will discuss Understanding and Overcoming Vaccine Hesitancy with Your Patients. Additionally, Leisha Nolan, MD, PhD, the Epidemiologist for the State of Utah, will provide an update on the measles outbreak. Long, MSN, FNP, will present on Medical Management of Diabetes: Best Practices for Medication Use in Complex Patients. | ADVANCED TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR ESSENTIAL TREMOR | Shervin Rahimpour, MD, FAANS, FCNS, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine, will present on Advanced Treatment Options for Essential Tremor: Focused Ultrasound and Deep Brain Stimulation. TRAUMA NURSING CORE COURSE (TNCC)
University of Utah Health will host a few additional Trauma Nursing Core courses this year. There are still spots available for the November 13th and 14th at the University of Utah Hospital, which will feature interactive lecture and hands-on skills stations. A fee is associated with this course.
