September Eye-Mail® Monthly
The countdown to Academy 2021 Boston continues with less than 50 days remaining until we reconvene once again for the Academy's annual meeting! Held November 3-6, 2021 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC), this year's annual meeting will feature 350 hours of education with the opportunity to earn up to 32 hours of COPE-approved CE. An updated version of the Program Preview and Education Grid is now available to view here.

Our top priority in Boston is the health and safety of all Academy 2021 Boston attendees, corporate partners, exhibitors, and staff. In continued planning for a live meeting and in partnership with the BCEC, the Academy will adhere to all local, state, and CDC regulations and guidelines. Be on the lookout for specific protocols related to on-site safety measures to be released in Boston-related emails.

As we continue the planning process, we'll continue to communicate relevant updates and pertinent details via email. Questions? Download our Frequently Asked Questions sheet.
Stay Tuned: Virtual Best of Academy 2021 Boston Meeting Scheduled for December 3-5, 2021
Recognizing there are still loyal Fellows and attendees who may not be able to travel due to health concerns, travel restrictions still in place, or simply do not want to travel, we will be offering a virtual meeting, following the in-person Boston meeting, December 3-5. More details will be shared in future communications.
Access the New AVSL-AAO Information Resource Hub
Over the last several months, the Academy has been working with the Association of Vision Science Librarians (AVSL) to put together a plethora of resources to support your clinical and research endeavors. We're pleased to share that the new AVSL-AAO Information Resource Hub is now available exclusively for Academy members to access.

In the hub, you'll find an easy search mechanism to explore various journals, books, citation management programs, bibliographic databases, point-of-care tools, and much more. Many of the resources logged in the search are free or offer some free access to the content provided.

Not sure where to start? We've developed several sample search scenarios on the hub to walk you through the process of finding the most useful resources to match your needs.

Explore the hub now by logging in with your Academy member credentials.
