Swarthmore's Food Truckathon is BACK! Friday, Sept 17.
Featuring these vendors, and more!! There will be live music in the amphitheater from 5:00-9:00 pm featuring Danie Ocean, Dave Fiebert, and Herb Mondros with Out of Order. Tables will be available throughout downtown Swarthmore. BYOB, buy a cold one at the Swarthmore Co-Op & Village Vine, or stop by one of our guest breweries! (Rain date 10/1)

Calling all VOLUNTEERS!
STC works hard to put together a rich calendar of community events, and we can't do it without generous help from volunteers. We are currently seeking volunteers for Truckathon on 9/17. There are a variety of tasks and shifts available.

Village Vine is participating in their first Main Line Restaurant Week. Please join them from August 23 through September 5. They are offering a special 3-course menu ($36.95), featuring several new fall dishes, plus wine pairings and flights. Call (484) 471-3997 or email here to make a reservation. 
New restaurant "Indulge" brings farm to table to Swarthmore
Indulge is an elevated restaurant featuring modern and personal takes on classic international favorites with an emphasis on decadence. The cuisine is always farm to table, locally sourced, and often picked by hand by Chef Nathan Moore. Indulge began as a pop-up at Occasionally Yours, which led to a permanent kitchen-sharing arrangement. It's now open for dinner service every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Call ahead to make a reservation 610-241-5821. Bon appétit!
Gallery on Park September Events
The Gallery will welcome mixed media artist Jill Haas at an opening reception on Friday, Sept. 3 from 5:00-7:00pm. Complimentary refreshments will be served in the side garden.

Pop-Up Saturdays are back! Stop by on Sept. 4 from 10:00 am-noon and meet potter and all around awesome human being, Krista Patton.

The fun continues on Saturday, September 18th from 10am-noon for another pop-up with Maxine Manges. Maxine makes beautiful pottery vessels called frogs. She then fills them with flowers that she grows in her home garden in Glenn Mills.

"Nights in The Ville" Back by Popular Demand! Thurs, Oct. 7
STC invites you to join a BONUS evening of “Nights in The Ville” located in the heart of Swarthmore Village. On Thursday, October 7 from 5:00–9:00 pm, Park Avenue will be closed to traffic from Chester Rd. to Dartmouth Ave. Local restaurants will be open for business with both indoor and outdoor seating in the parklets. Additional tables will be placed throughout the block for first-come-first-served seating. Place a takeout order, BYOB, and enjoy dinner at any one of our numerous community 4 and 6-top tables & chairs.
