Wellness Exam

Just a reminder that your annual Voluntary Well Steps Program wellness screening is due on September 30th, 2023 (if you were hired before 4/1/2023). Completing the wellness screening gives you a discount on your health insurance premium. If you do not participate your health insurance premium will go up to the non-wellness rate at the beginning of October. Here are the two ways to participate:

A. Complete an annual physical exam through your primary care doctor and submit the proof to HR in one of the following 3 ways:

  • Note on doctor’s letterhead stating you had an annual exam and the date it occurred.
  • EOB (Explanation of Benefits) provided by BCBS indicating that an annual exam took place. (If you have these mailed to you it will probably take a month or two to receive.)
  • Visit summary just indicating the wellness exam/physical, your name, and date it occurred. This is usually provided after the appointment or could be printed from your online profile (IE MyChart) depending what type of system your provider utilizes.

B. Participate in one of our on-site wellness screenings:

  • Souderton - September 12th, 2023 - Sign up sheet located in cafeteria
  • Cherry Valley - September 12th, 2023 - Email Kristine to sign up

HR Ramps Up Recruitment

Ipsen’s Director of Field Service, David Choate and Talent Acquisition Manager, Amanda Skidmore, attended a Recruit/Military job fair in Norfolk, VA. Ipsen is proud to actively recruit individuals from the U.S. Military. We appreciate their service to this country and believe individuals that come to us with prior military experience have knowledge and skills that are transferable to many Ipsen positions. As we’re working to grow our field service team through the development of our HUBs, we’re also recruiting for all our job openings. In addition to this hiring event, we also had a team on site in early June at Naval Base Kitsap in Washington state.

Shout Out!

"I would like to thank Scott Borota for his efforts on a recent major furnace rebuild for SpaceX. This major furnace rebuild is a critical ICS project, and will include a new Control Panel, VRT, Vacuum Compression Brazing Assembly, Water Flow/Temp Sensor, Bottom Head Drive System and Complete Leg Structure. Scott worked extremely hard to meet demanding customer timelines on a complex scope of supply. No doubt this was an intensive effort on his part and it is very much appreciated by the Retrofits team and our customer. I would also like to thank Greg Froze, Brian Brilinksi, and Mark Bolin for their efforts to make this project another success between Ipsen and SpaceX."
