1. Review and identify the requirements for maintaining your Utah Social Work license in good standing. Calculate the ongoing professional development hours required for a given license and degree, identify qualifying sponsors, formats, and activities for continuing education, determine how to document those activities, including applicable caps; and learn how to record this information for an audit. 

2. Gain a knowledge of recent statutory and rule changes to supervision and practice. Learn about the 2024-2026 changes to Utah's behavioral health licensing structure - the Behavioral Health Board, the alternative examination pathway, and the Social Licensure Compact. Learn about all the new requirements for clinical supervision qualifications, including new supervision contract requirements, and how to be prepared for the January 1, 2027 deadline.

3. Learn about the disciplinary process for the Utah Division of Professional Licensing. Learn about the DOPL complaint and disciplinary process, how to identify the appropriate code of ethics, and review reporting obligations to the Division.
