Swimming & Anchoring

Even though we are nearing the end of this boating season, we want to remind you of our rules for swimming and anchoring.

  • From sunrise to sunset, boat anchoring and swimming are at your own risk.
  • Boat anchoring &/or swimming are permitted only within buoy swim areas at the dam embayment and short causeway.
  • Embankment docking is prohibited.

It is important that rules, regulations, and codes of conduct are always top of mind while enjoying a day on the lake. Click below to review these and then stop by the gatehouse or office to grab a brochure.

Brrr... Save the Date!

Last January we held our first ever Lemon Drop Polar Plunge. It was wildly successful with over 100 participants who donated over $2,000. Check out the short video below from last year's plunge.

Save the date and join in the fun again on Saturday January 13, 2024.

This year, we are going to switch it up a bit and encourage both individuals AND teams to take part in the plunge!

Hey, LLCD Districts! Maybe get a team together and see which district can raise the most!

The highest donations for both an individual and a team will receive something special ;) Are you the costume wearing type? If you are, dust off your favorite because the best costume will also win a prize! Donate $35 or more and receive a free beanie to keep that noggin' warm! It's going to be a blast.
