Our September Board meeting, originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 8th, is postponed. The new date is to be determined. There are a few reasons for this postponement. The first reason is the concerns about meeting in person and indoors as Covid-19 numbers have been rising. Secondly, with no items to be voted on, and religious calendar conflicts, dozens of community members have communicated that they would not attend.

Lastly, and the 1 bit of good news here, the state is expected to amend the open meetings law as part of a special legislative session to allow for virtual participation in community board and other public meetings. So when we are given legal instructions on how this pending change allows us to operate, we’ll plan a meeting accordingly.
