How long have you been in business?

Fifth Third Bank has been operating for over 167 years - since 06/17/1858 in Ohio. Fifth Third Bank has had a presence in La Grange Park since July 10, 1993, when the branch at 401 North LaGrange Road was officially established. It was then remodeled in 2020.

What are your key products/services?

We begin by offering foundational financial solutions such as checking and savings accounts, designed to support everyday banking needs. From there, we assist customers in establishing and building credit, helping them lay the groundwork for achieving future financial goals. For our business clients, we provide tailored support to meet their unique operational and financial needs. Additionally, we collaborate with our in-branch partners to facilitate comprehensive financial conversations, including investment strategies, retirement planning, and asset protection, ensuring our clients receive expert guidance for long-term financial success.

How do you hope the Chamber will help your business grow?

I hope the Chamber of Commerce will help our business grow by providing valuable networking opportunities, increasing visibility within the community, and offering access to resources that support local businesses. I’m especially interested in collaborating with other members to share best practices, participate in community events, and stay informed about local economic trends and initiatives. Being part of the Chamber creates a platform for mutual support and growth, which I believe is essential for long-term success.

Outside of your business, how do you enjoy spending your time?

Our team embraces a variety of ways to enjoy life beyond the workplace. Some of us find joy in outdoor activities like biking and walking through the forest preserve, while others love to travel—exploring new destinations and creating lasting memories. Many of us also cherish time spent with family, whether at gatherings or simply enjoying each other's company.

Our Chili Cook-Off is this month and we can't wait! Please join us for this awesome fall evening in La Grange Park! Thank you in advance to all our chefs and sponsors and to the Community Park District for being such amazing partners in putting it all together!

We were thrilled to be a part of the ribbon cutting ceremony last month celebrating the fresh new space of Community Park Fitness! Congrats to the Community Park District ~ we are lucky to have such a fantastic venue for wellness that will serve so many residents.

We had a simply gorgeous evening for the Community Park District’s Back to School Music Under the Stars. Thanks to all that stopped by the Chamber table to say hello and to our friends at the Village of La Grange Park for co-sponsoring with us! The bubbles and ice cream were a hit with all the kiddos there!

In our last member meeting, we had a speaker from Reference Solutions chat with our group. Reference Solutions offers powerful business and consumer data tools that can help Chamber members identify sales leads, research markets, analyze competitors, and target marketing efforts. It's a valuable resource for business growth, community outreach, and informed decision-making.
