Hi Friends!
Gone for me are the days when September meant pack away the bathing suits and get the kids ready for school. You know by now how much I love summer, so even after all this time seeing school supplies in the stores in August makes me shudder. But now that I am continuing to teach my zoom classes and workshops (YAY!!!!), I must think “school daze” again. I’m happy to report my Wednesday classes are resuming on 9/22 and I am doing a few workshops this Fall as well.
Being back in my studio means inhaling calm and exhaling all the usual stress. I’m experimenting with new surfaces and inks to use along with my pastels. BlueJayWay (below) is on a handmade surface using blue acrylic mixed with my paper. Stripes and Shadows (above) is on paper that has little flecks of gold paint woven in.
Come join a class at jerigreenbergart.com/workshops and play with us, or watch a demo and see what you think. Remember whatever you do, make the ordinary extraordinary!
See you at the easel,
-Jeri
