Greetings T&C Families and Friends,
Welcome back for another fun exciting fall sports season. I hope you and your family enjoyed a great and safe summer.
Unfortunately, due to rain and wet fields we had to cancel our Labor Day family fun day this year to kick off the season, but we are planning to make up the fun run part in October and hope many of you can come join us..
Most of the sports had opening weekend on the 7th and it was awesome having all the kids and families back on campus. I hope your team is off to a great start and you enjoy an awesome fall season.
We had a more favorable summer growing season with some slightly cooler temperatures and timely rain which has helped with our field conditions. Our maintenance staff have been working hard all summer to get the fields in good condition and their hard work has paid off. Currently with the summer Bermuda growth our fields are in much better shape than they have been in the last few years.
We are planning to move the “Helping Every Kid Play” bowling tournament to January this year, but we are excited about several other special events we have planned for this fall. We are excited be hosting our 2nd annual “Trunk or Treat” event in October and our Turkey Trot family run scheduled for the weekend following Thanksgiving. There is always lots going on at T&C other than just the games and practices so, please remember to check the website often, follow us on social media and read your newsletters for the latest information regarding spring registration, upcoming special events and all that is going on at T&C for the remainder of 2024.
I want to thank all of you for being a part of Town and Country and making it such a special place for all our children to learn and play.
