Nonprofits across the country are facing significant challenges, and new federal grant restrictions could limit access to essential funds for vital housing programs. These changes may reduce protections for some of the most vulnerable community members, including immigrants and transgender individuals, and restrict funding for critical housing and healthcare services.
In response, the National Alliance to End Homelessness has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This legal action challenges new grant restrictions and their potential to block access to vital housing support.

This month, we were proud to co-host the 4th Annual Community Resource Exchange (CREX) alongside our partners at Morris County Department of Human Services, the Morris County Continuum of Care, Interfaith Food Pantry Network, and ArcMorris.
This countywide networking event brought together nearly 50 organizations, plus local leaders, officials, and community members, all working toward one goal: making sure Morris County residents know where to turn when they need support.
Events like CREX strengthen collaboration and raise awareness of the many resources available to our neighbors. Together, we’re building a stronger safety net for our community.

We'd love to make it happen! Please reach out to Holly Dinneny, Associate Director of Community Engagement, at h.dinneny@familypromisemorris.org to get started.
Our Back-to-School Bash was a huge success!
Families enjoyed fresh haircuts, family photos, delicious food, and 27 students left with new backpacks, lunchboxes, water bottles, and more.
A heartfelt thank you to our co-hosts, United Women in Faith at Morristown United Methodist Church, and to our generous partners: Project Readiness, Bessemer Trust, Resurrection Parish of Randolph, Evernorth, and Snip-its of Rockaway for making it all possible.

From part-time beginnings to Director of Finance, she’s helping our mission grow every step of the way. “My favorite thing about Family Promise is that we help real people with dignity and compassion. I’ve witnessed lives transformed.” And when she’s not helping families, Diane is cheering on the New York Mets, enjoying home runs and big red apple moments at Citi Field with her family!
