THANKS TO ALL OUR GENEROUS SPONSORS!

This event would not be a success if it weren't for each and every one of our Sponsors. We wish to thank those who supported the Golf Tournament and Silent Auction through your generous giving and donations of items for the auction.

CON"GRAD"ULATIONS!

It is a bittersweet goodbye to Participant Family Elizabeth and her two kids Alex and Charlene who successfully completed our program and graduated this month. We all have come to love them so much and they will always be a special part of our Haven House family . We have watched mom Elizabeth grow from where she started with us - a victim of domestic violence battling PTSD, scared and withdrawn into a strong, independent woman and excellent mother. Having found herself again during their two year stay at Haven House, Elizabeth was able to also get back to work full time, purchase a vehicle of her own and rent a place they now will call home.

We are so proud of you three and know we are always here for you if you need us!

WE ARE SO PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT OVER 90% OF THE PARTICIPANTS IN HAVEN HOUSE ARE EMPLOYED AT LEAST PART TIME! MEET A FEW OF OUR WORKING PARTICIPANTS!

job2.jpg

Nikki B. - Is employed full time as a Nurse's Aid with Touch of Care where she loves the chance to bring joy into the life of an elderly person. Nikki also attends Arizona State University getting her BS in Psychology.

job4.jpg

Jose H. likes his full time position as a metal worker with Weather Port in Delta because it offers a variety of tasks. Jose also serves in the Security position at Haven House.

job3.jpg

Hannah M. is employed full time as a Mental Health Tech with the Center for Mental Health in Montrose. Hannah is also finishing her BA in Speech Pathology at UNLV.

job5.jpg

Though dealing with health disabilities of her own we are proud of Stacey K. for still working hard part time at Family Dollar in Olathe in Customer Service. She hopes to someday make manager!

job.jpg

Participant Heather M. is employed full time right here at Haven House as our Youth Director. Heather is also enrolled full time at Colorado State University working on her BA in Family & Education Studies.

job6.jpg

Rachel S. is employed full time as a Server at Applebee's in Montrose. She likes that she gets to meet new people every day! Rachel is also enrolled full time in college to become a Medical Assistant.

We would like to also take note of some of the rest of our working Participants: Sharon D. who works up to full time in the Haven House Daycare, is taking classes for her GED and also getting her CDA; Dan D. who works full time at Walmart in Delta; Christopher L. who is a full time Tire Technician at American Tire in Montrose; Sharon C. who works full time at Just Like New in Montrose; Mary P. who works full time at Bright Beginnings in Montrose; Willow E. who provides private daycare for our families; and Samantha & Brian B. who both work full time at the Salvation Army in Montrose (both started as volunteers!). Even two of our Teens have jobs - Brandon H. works at Sonic in Delta and James G. works part time at 970 Sports Rewind in Montrose! Almost ALL of these participants came to Haven House without a job and dependent on public resources so what a huge testament that this program, through the Grace of God, works! We are so proud of each and every one of you for giving back to your community and for your efforts to become self-sufficient! And we also wish to thank each and every one of these businesses who have given our Participants a second chance and a new hope for a better future!
