September News Update 2023

The Month of September is Dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows
"O most holy Virgin, Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ: by the overwhelming grief you experienced when you witnessed the martyrdom, the crucifixion, and death of your divine Son, look upon me with eyes of compassion, and awaken in my heart a tender commiseration for those sufferings, as well as a sincere detestation of my sins, in order that being disengaged from all undue affection for the passing joys of this earth, I may sigh after the eternal Jerusalem, and that henceforward all my thoughts and all my actions may be directed towards this one most desirable object.

Honor, glory, and love to our divine Lord Jesus, and to the holy and immaculate Mother of God. Amen."

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us!

(PreK at 12:00 P.M. & K-7 at 12:30 P.M.)

"Lord, You send out Your Spirit to touch the hearts of all people, so that they may believe in You and in Jesus whom You sent. Look kindly on all candidates for Confirmation as they listen to Your voice. Open their hearts to Your Spirit and bring to fulfillment the good work that You have begun in them.

As we prepare these children for Confirmation, make each of us an instrument of Your love. Teach us to appreciate what is holy in others, and to be patient with what we do not understand. Deepen our faith in the Gospel and help us to pass it on by our example. We pray that You will continue to guide us and sustain us. Through Christ our Lord, Amen."

Electronically Signed Forms

Dear Parents,

As you know, this year we moved three forms to an electronic signing status. They are:

  • Photo permission form
  • Technology acceptable use form
  • Handbook acknowledgement form

If you have not yet signed the forms, please do so ASAP.

If you have not signed the forms by 9/15/2023, your access to Genesis Parent Access will be deleted and you will not be able to view your child(ren)’s grades. You will then need to request a hard copy of the forms, sign & return, and then your account will then be re-activated.

Parent Portal is Open!

Parent Portal is currently available for all parents!

Parents of children in kindergarten - eighth grade grade will have access to their children's attendance record, contacts, and digital report cards. Parents of children in third - eighth grade will also have access to their children's ongoing academic performance via the teachers' grade books.

Please be aware the access to report cards and past report cards is not currently available. The feature will be available in October.

Welcome emails were sent out to all new parents from the Diocese of Trenton or Genesis (formal name of program) with the access information. All current parents will be able to log on using the same credentials they had in the previous school year. Parents, if you forgot your password, please use the "forgot password" link, and the Diocese will issue new credentials within a few days.
