Expert Advice Available to Redmond's Small Businesses

The needs of Redmond's small business owners are as complex and diverse as Redmond's businesses. Fortunately, no-cost business resources are available in collaboration with OneRedmond, OneEastside SPARK and the Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC). An overarching business advising and knowledge base can be accessed through Shawn Palmer, an accredited small business consultant (ASBC), including recovery, sustainability, and growth efforts, ranging from pricing strategies and customer psychographics to staff management and research capabilities. 

Focused assistance is also available through resource partners and a network of Washington SBDC business advisors, including:

The Redmond King County Library branch offers free access to valuable data for small businesses to conduct research on customer segments and direct and indirect competitors. 

The US Small Business Administration (SBA) offers a learning platform, including a portal specific to women business owners. Access here. Let's Move Redmond

Spotlight Sip And Social

On August 26th, the OneRedmond team and the Hilton Garden Inn at Redmond Town Center welcomed over 60 guests to the first in-person networking event of the year for OneRedmond members. Meet Remy the OneRedmond Dragon, seen here with Daniel Murray, owner of Pasta ya Gotcha. On Tuesday, August 10th, Remy joined OneRedmond’s Justine Mulholland and Washington Small Business Development Center (SBDC)'s Shawn Palmer to visit businesses located in the Willows Business Center. Last year the OneRedmond team visited 100 businesses and this year more than 75 Redmond businesses have been visited so far.
