Town Hall: Breaking Down our Balance Sheet
Thank you for all who attended our most recent Town Hall on Thursday, Sept 5 !

We had the opportunity to learn about the key financial indicators that represent the health and the trajectory of our credit union and how to use this information to better understand financials at any organization.

Stay tuned for our next Town Hall at the Bushwick branch!
Meet Our Members: Diana and Marco
Diana and Marco became members of Brooklyn Coop in November 2017 with a goal of receiving a business loan for their Bushwick based store El Baratillo Corp. They weren't quite ready when they first applied, so Brooklyn Coop Loan Officers provided Diana and Marco with educational resources and opportunities to strengthen their application.

Diana and Marco worked to improve their credit and to better organize their financial documentation. One year later, they applied for a business loan again and this time they were approved!

They received a $10,000 loan to invest in new merchandise and improvements for El Baratillo. They are also planning on expanding their storefront in the near future.
Diana and Marco’s advice to other business owners, "open your account with BCoop and get access to credit!”
