At Parc, creativity is a powerful way to express yourself, connect with others and share what makes you unique. Alyssa brings that spirit to life through her artwork, her role as a Parc Ambassador and her participation in the Parc choir. Her story is a joyful example of how meaningful opportunities can help individuals build confidence, form connections and share their talents with the community.

Looking Ahead: Philanthropy in Action

It’s never too early to begin thinking about year-end giving. As we approach October and the beginning of Parc’s new fiscal year, I want to share a few of the priorities that your philanthropy will help us advance in the year ahead.

First, we are determined to finish our Raise the Roof Campaign. We have raised an incredible $9,085,335, and we are so close! If you haven’t visited our new Tom & Mary James Children’s Services Center, please come see us. We would love to show you firsthand the difference your support is already making, and the impact this beautiful center will have for generations to come.

We are also focused on fully funding our new commercial kitchen, which broke ground this month. This $1 million project will provide an updated, efficient space for our culinary team to prepare thousands of meals each year for the children and adults we serve. We are grateful to have received $375,000 in state funding, but there is still important work ahead.

And we are committed to closing the gap in therapy funding for our children. As our Children’s Services Center grows, so does the need for therapy. At Parc, our commitment is simple: every child should receive the therapy they need, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

These are ambitious goals, but they are possible because of you.

As you begin your own year-end planning, I invite you to consider an early gift to help us begin FY2027 strong. And please help us spread the word about the extraordinary work happening at Parc.

We are also planning a special Legacy Society gathering in October. If you have included Parc in your estate plans or would like to learn more about leaving a lasting legacy we would love to hear from you.

Finally, please take a moment to update your contact information and let us know how you prefer to hear from us. We want to keep you connected to the mission and the lives your generosity is changing.

Together, we can finish what we’ve started and build an even stronger future for the children, adults, and families we serve.

BLACK TIE GALA

Join Parc Center for Disabilities for our 57th Annual Black Tie Gala, an inspiring evening celebrating Parc’s mission and the individuals and families it serves.

This signature event brings the community together in support of life-changing programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us for Strike for Parc and helped make the event such a wonderful success.

From our bowlers and sponsors to our volunteers, supporters and community partners, your generosity helps Parc continue empowering children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and thrive.

Thank you for rolling with us, cheering us on and supporting our mission.
