Dear Friends of History San José,
Sorry you haven’t heard from us in a while! We have spent the last few months adapting to the new "normal." I am happy to report that since History Park is an outdoor museum, the grounds are open again Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm for walking you or your dog, biking, jogging or just having a picnic.
Then we thought "hey" we can tell the history of our historic buildings from the outside. That’s when we came up with the idea, Historic Walking Tours of the Park, on Tuesday & Thursday at 10:00 am. For more information or to purchase tickets please visit www.eventbrite.com.
I look forward to the day when I can welcome you back to History Park and the Peralta Adobe-Fallon House to enjoy the many multicultural festivals and events that are the hallmark of History San José.
Be well and be safe,
Bill Schroh, Jr.

History San José remains committed to engaged and active learning even in the midst of COVID-19. For this reason, we are excited to launch a new virtual field trips program. These virtual field trips are adaptations of our most popular programs—Adobe Days, History Detectives, and Westward Ho! They weave together live instruction with museum educators, multimedia displays of primary source materials, and interactive activities, immersing students in local history while meeting state and core curriculum standards. Educators can now register online, securing high-quality programs that are low-cost and do not require bus reservations!
